Drone strikes in Ukraine and Russia; Israel kills two in West Bank

Good evening. Overnight, a Russian drone hit a nine-story apartment block in Kyiv's Holosiivskyi district, injuring three people and prompting the evacuation of twenty-five residents. At the same time, Ukrainian air defenses intercepted rockets near the capital, and four drones heading for Moscow were shot down with no casualties. In the Russian-controlled city of Horlivka, a Ukrainian drone struck a bus, killing one person and wounding five. Further north, a Ukrainian drone strike in Belgorod left two people dead. In the West Bank, Israeli troops shot and killed two teenagers in the village of al-Mughayyir near Hebron. Israeli forces also shelled the outskirts of Beit Jinn in Syria, with no reported casualties. Elsewhere, an attack in South Kordofan, Sudan, destroyed more than fifty metric tons of World Food Programme food aid. In Nigeria, troops killed a suspected bandit in Benue State and recovered weapons. And in Leipzig, Germany, authorities linked a drone incident to a suspect with a residence in Russia.
