Every five minutes WarMap Live reads public news feeds, extracts the incidents that name a specific place, and plots them. The map defaults to the last hour, and can be widened to six hours, a day or a week.
Events are derived automatically from publicly published news reports. Each marker links back to the article it came from. This is an aggregator of news coverage, not a verified intelligence source — locations are estimated, and reports can be incomplete, delayed or wrong.
